Random Rant (Tuesday, April 17th, 2018)

Why are people such ignorant drivers? Whenever I was out driving on a HIGHWAY, I passed at least four people who were looking down - heads physically ducked - at their cellphones. Hmm...a bit of a safety hazard? I was under the impression that texting and driving is (highly) illegal? I guess that rule only applies to some roads; completely excluding HIGHWAYS. Just to make that clear: HIGHWAYS. Whenever I drive, I make it a habit to store my phone entirely out of reach; out of sight and out of mind. Not only do I fear for the safety of the steadily increasing amount of distracted drivers, but I fear even more for those who are innocent, and having to navigate around such disturbingly common situations. Texting and driving does nothing but cause unneeded danger for drivers. Just don't do it, please? Is that too much to ask?
